PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE
Hide yourself in God, so when a man wants to find you he will have to go there first.
Karen is probably best known for one of her many lead roles at Sight & Sound’s Millennium Theater as Mrs. Noah in the renowned production NOAH, THE MUSICAL. Beyond the stage, her inspirational speaking combined with singing and storytelling has taken her all over the United States, Italy, Germany, South America, Asia and Israel.
Growing up in a military family, Karen has a special place in her heart for those who serve our country. She was invited by the Chaplain Corps of the US Army in South East Asia to provide ministry for military troops and their families in Korea and she has produced and performed in VOICES FOR AMERICA, a musical drama that honors our veterans and the heritage of America. She has also been a Performing Artist in Israel to speak and perform throughout the Holy Land.
During her years with Sight & Sound, Karen performed to audiences of over 6,000 on a daily basis, but her desire to reach out to people on a more personal level with the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ led her to establish Heartsongs Ministries, Inc, a nonprofit 501 c-3 organization. This allows her to travel extensively to encourage audiences with the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ.
As a writer, Karen has been included in several editions of devotional books as well as writing and producing scripts for many productions on stage. She is included in a team of script writers that regularly produces radio/PODCAST dramas for the long running UNSHACKLED radio program that is heard throughout the world and is translated into 14 languages. She has written and produced scripts for Audio Tours and Pageants. Her One-Woman Musical Dramas are her own creations in music and script. With her background as an actress, Karen is a gifted storyteller who knows how to draw her audience into meaningful moments. Her presentations are touching and uplifting as well as interesting, humorous and entertaining!
